ScheduleFCYour family calendar comes with a permanent share link — but it's a long, random string you can't read over the phone or remember. For families who share their schedule constantly, one small annual upgrade swaps it for an address you'd actually want to hand out.
What the upgrade adds
One thing: your own address. Claim something like schedulefc.com/smithfamily— short enough to say out loud, short enough to pin in a group chat. (Addresses are letters and numbers only, so "The Smith Family" becomes smithfamily.)
What you already have
These come with every calendar, so there's nothing to buy for them:
- Decide what your page shows — set your main page to games only, or games and practices. Sharing mostly with family? Practices can stay off the page everyone sees.
- A games-only link — a separate link for the grandparents who only come to games.
- A private page— turn on an email gate so only addresses you've approved can open it.
- Two calendar feeds — let people subscribe to the full calendar or just the games.
Who it's for
Most families never need it — the automatic link works fine when you send it once and everyone subscribes. The custom address is for families who've made the calendar a hub: lots of relatives, lots of sharing, and a link that gets read out loud often enough that its length starts to matter.

- Pick your address — it checks availability as you type.
- Claim it. Your page is live at the new address immediately, and the old link keeps working.
